Indie Game Review – Pizza City – Flash goes 8-Bit

If you are looking for some free 8-bit action online, check out Pizza City – a web-based Flash game that somehow recalls for this writer Neal Stephenson’s Snow Crash, GTA and Paperboy all at once. *Cough*  Well, sort of.

Although the music is annoyingly repetitive, the game runs smoothly, the graphics are hilariously low-res but have a cool pseudo three-dimensionality, and playing is easy and really fun.  A mini-map shows you where you are so you can complete your deliveries on time (that is if you can avoid the car pileups on the roads), and the controls are simple to use (WASD).

Head over to Adult Swim to play Pizza City now.
